“Dyes, bleaches, soaps and detergents, spray fixers, waxes, oils: many components of our daily job may unintentionally spoil the lipid layer and be absorbed by our skin, creating severe problems such as dermatitis or even blood poisoning.
That is why, in cosmetics, gloves are not only recommended but strictly required in many jobs. In this case, the glove has to be a PPE Directive 93/42/EEC concerning Medical Devices, Reference standard EN 455 parts 1, 2, 3 and 4.
We recommend long cuff gloves up to the sleeves to prevent water or liquids from entering.
Black gloves are recommended because they might look cleaner and do not distract with undesired color effects.
Powder-free products are optimal because they do not contaminate the work environment and are more biocompatible, better preserving our skin.
